Current board vice president of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power Board of Commissioners and founding partner of Castellón & Funderburk LLP (formerly Stanzler Funderburk and Castellon LLP), William Funderburk, Jr., JD, has addressed a wide range of environmental regulatory issues with clients on national, state, and regional levels. As manager of his firm’s Los Angeles offices, William Funderburk provides legal counsel to manufacturers and government agencies regarding such legislation as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Federal Superfund law.
Active in his community, Mr. Funderburk is also a member of Roy W. Roberts II Watts/Willowbrook Boys & Girls Club, an organization that provides educational, recreational, and social programs and services to over 3,000 youth in the southern Los Angeles area and the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council.
Mr. Funderburk holds a BA from Yale University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. He gained admission to the District of Columbia bar in 1991 and to the State of California bar in 1995.
